Our Shapura Collection has a quiet beauty that fills a room with relaxed elegance. Each weave is meticulously designed in numerous soft, dusty shades to achieve desired depths of color. These variations lend themselves to decorating and give the rugs a casual air that compliments the way your home looks and feel. These patterns have been crafted using dozens of individually skein dyed yarns for precise color clarity. The yarn is then woven through the back and finished with Karastan’s Lustre-Wash process to re-create look and feel of a hand-woven rug.
Karastan’s Axmister weave incorporates a cotton foundation and wool pile with a woven through-the-back construction that closely duplicates the look and feel of a hand-knotted rug.

Karastan did an excellent job of putting together a grouping of beautiful and stylish rugs that are inviting and comfortable using today’s fashionable color palettes. The 100% New Zealand Wool material and 1/2 inch thickness give charm and comfort to any hard surface floor.
Care Instructions: Rotate your rug periodically. Vacuuming is the best way to remove every-day dirt and dust. (Special care should be taken in the fringe area as vacuuming with a beater bar can catch and pull the fringe, causing separation). Professional cleaning recommended.
